The winner of our February Photo of the Month competition is Graham Irving with his photo titled “St. Justinian’s Lifeboat Station. Old and new”, congratulations Graham!
We asked Graham what the inspiration behind his winning photo was, Graham shared with us that whilst he was walking the beautiful Pembrokeshire Coastal Path recently, he noticed the majestic site of the old and new lifeboat stations, standing side by side along the cliff’s edge at St. Justinian’s.
It made Graham think of all the brave RNLI staff, many of them volunteers and even members of the Milford Marina Team, and how they do such a fantastic and dangerous job all year round.
It is their selflessness, courage and dependability that helps to save lives at sea and Graham gives his fullest respect and gratitude to them all.
Every month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition, with entries capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, the boating community, and Milford Marina itself.
March’s competition is now open for entries and as we celebrate spring this month, we hope to see plenty of your sunny spring shots!
