Milford Marina has been named as one of the top five marinas in the UK by ‘Sailing Today’ readers.

The winners of the Sailing Today Awards were announced at the Southampton Boat Show recently, having been voted for by the magazine’s 30,000-strong audience. The 328 berth marina at Milford was shortlisted in the UK Marina/Harbour category, along with Hamble Point, St Helier Harbour and Titchmarsh Marina, with Cowes Yacht Haven claiming the title.

The judges recognised Milford Marina for its multi-million pound investment in new lock gates which has created more frequent access times for visitors and berth holders, as well as its accolade as the only four Gold Anchor facility in west Wales.

The marina is owned and operated by the Port of Milford Haven and is at the heart of the £70 million Milford Waterfront Development which will see the area transformed into a vibrant waterside destination focused on retail, leisure, residential and fishing. Berth holders at Milford Marina already enjoy a range of first class facilities including an exclusive Gold Card and the opportunity to join Europe’s largest cruising network, the Passeport Escales programme.
