Keeping safe

Safety is our number one priority both in Milford Marina and on the Milford Haven Waterway.

At Milford Marina, we have a number of safety measures that we enforce to ensure a safe and secure environment for our customers. Read more about safety at Milford Marina and/or download the Marina Handbook.

The Port of Milford Haven is responsible for the 22 miles of the Milford Haven Waterway and has introduced specified usage and zoning areas and multiple guidance documents to assist you with your navigation. Please familiarise yourself with the leisure section of the Port website, current Notices to Mariners and the Leisure User Guide.

Out of the Waterway, please be mindful of the Castlemartin and Aberporth firing ranges. We publish the Castlemartin firing times on a monthly basis on our website and the Aberporth firing times can be checked on the Qinetiq website or by calling +44(0)1239 813480 or on VHF Ch16 (Call sign: Aberporth Range Control).
