Following on from Government guidance issued last week, we should all now be staying at home and only going outside to shop for the essential food, health reasons, once a day for exercise, or to go to work (but only if working from home is not an option).

As key workers, the Milford Marina Team continues to work 24 hours a day to maintain operations and to be here for berth holders who liveaboard their boats full time.

A Notice to Mariners was issued yesterday to notify waterway users that the Port of Milford Haven considers leisure use of the Milford Waterway at this present time an unnecessary activity as there is the potential that you will put further and avoidable pressure on the emergency services should you get into difficulty either driving to access your vessel or while out on your vessel.

We would therefore ask that our customers adhere to this until such times as the Notice to Mariners is cancelled or amended. As we have a high number of liveaboards, we cannot close Milford Marina completely at this time, and whilst our facilities remain open, our offices are closed to members of the public until the situation passes.

In line with the official Government advice and the Notice to Mariners, we would advise against any unnecessary travel to check on your boat at this time. If you cannot get here and you have any concerns about your boat, please let us know and we will try to help.

Please be considerate of the team working in these challenging circumstances. We’re all adapting with amended shift patterns and remote working in order to maintain the service to our berth holders.

If you require any further information at this time, please call us on 01646 696312 or send us an enquiry.

Thank you for your cooperation.
