We are mobilising contractors, GD Harries to site next week to undertake works to our surface water drainage.
Part of this work will include replacing the flap valve on the North End of the Dock adjacent to Victoria Bridge. The work will also entail the filling in of a scour hole in front of the outlet and some general wall repairs.
The works will not affect leisure or commercial users as the works area is not an operational part of the Dock and is in shallow water. We may need to control water levels during the works and will endeavour to minimise disruption.
We are currently waiting for the National Resources Wales Marine Licence to be issued. Once issued, the contractors will review and revise their planned programme and we will provide further details of the works programme.
