Photo of the Month Winner – January 2021

The winner for our January Photo of the Month competition is Keith Mullins. Congratulations Keith!

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and keen photographers of any standard to enter their shots into our Photo of the Month competition, with entries capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, the boating community, and Milford Marina itself.

We’ve kicked off 2021 with a cracking start as we received 22 fantastic entries for January’s competition. With so many great entries to vote for, the competition certainly heated up but it was the photograph titled “a warm glow” by Keith Mullins that stole the show.

Keith’s wife Sandra just happened to be stood outside their business Spot On Dry Cleaners & Laundry enjoying the morning breeze and noticed a fascinating spectacle right across the Milford Haven Waterway. She called to Keith and he knew this would be a great moment to capture, he borrowed Sandra’s phone and took a couple of quick snaps of Pembroke Power Station from the Mackerel Quay.

Quickly after, Keith uploaded his picture onto a Facebook page and it was well-received, so he thought to enter it into our Photo of the Month competition, and it was definitely a hit with the voters!

February’s competition has now commenced and entering couldn’t be easier! For your chance to win a voucher to spend at a Milford Waterfront business, all you need to do is upload your photo from your computer, mobile or straight from your Instagram account to our website.

As we’re now in the month of Valentine’s Day celebrating all things “love”, we would love to see all your favourite photos you’ve taken, past and present to join us in celebrating Milford Marina’s 30 year anniversary!
