Please be advised that G Wall Access Gangway is scheduled to be lifted out for planned maintenance works on 14th February 2022 between the hours of 07.00hrs and 11.30hrs.
During these hours there will be restricted access to Mackerel Quay Road as a crane will be operating within the yellow rectangle on Mackerel Quay (see image). The safety of everyone is paramount so there will be a road traffic diversion in place controlled by Port staff, who will be diverting all traffic through the Mackerel Quay car park.
Access will be restricted to boats berthed on M11 to M18 and part of G Wall during the movement.
The maintenance works to the Gangway will take approximately 7-10 days – with the gangway reinstated after the works are completed. During this period, access to the pontoons will be via the main Access Gate located on H Wall and the Access Gate located on F Wall.
An alert will be sent to all berth holders to confirm the date for the reinstatement of the Access Gangway.
