What is the best thing about working at Milford Marina?

The variety of people I get to meet, whether they’re visiting or long-term berth holders, they all have their own stories!

Is there anything people should know about Milford Marina that they may not know?

It’s surprising how many walks there are around the local area, it’s the perfect base to explore on foot.

Have you got any special skills, talents or hobbies?

I am a crew member for the RNLI for Little Haven and Broad Haven and I’m also a Scuba Diving Instructor for both PADI and BSAC.

What is your best tip/advice for berth holders?

Always remember to listen out on your VHF on Channel 14 when in the marina itself and when departing the lock.

If you have a boat, where is your favourite spot?

I have two boats at Milford Marina and when I take my boat out diving I love to go to the Skomer Marine Reserve.

What has been your favourite day in work and why?

You can’t beat cruising around in the Miranda (workboat) doing a physical checklist on a summer’s afternoon.
