The winner of our October Photo of the Month competition is Davey Barrett with his photo titled “Lifeboat at rest”, congratulations Davey!
You may recognise Davey from working at Milford Marina for over 20 years as a Marina Operative but did you know Davey is also the Deputy Launching Authority and Press Officer at Angle Lifeboat Station?
We asked Davey what the inspiration behind his winning photo was, Davey shared with us that with the lifeboat having had a busy period recently, it was nice to see it a little quieter and the lifeboat in the boathouse having a break but ready to go at the sounding of the pagers.
Every month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition, with entries capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, the boating community, and Milford Marina itself.
November’s competition has now kicked off and with the nights now drawing in, we’d love to see your starry shots or any photos you captured of the Milford Haven Fireworks Extravaganza which took place over the Milford Haven Waterway!
