Crowds turned out to greet world-famous yacht Gipsy Moth IV as she berthed at Milford Marina on 2 August.
The contest to win the contract to build and install the new lock gates for the £5m Dock Lock project at Milford Marina is well underway.
Milford Marina will soon play host to the historic Gipsy Moth IV yacht and she’ll be offering people in Pembrokeshire the chance to sail aboard the famous vessel as part of its summer programme.
Substantial planned improvement works to Milford Marina will press ahead full steam –despite upcoming changes to the marina’s management, prompted by the announcement that Pembrokeshire Marine Group managing director Nathan Hewitt will be leaving at the end of April to pursue a new career in the anti-pollution industry.
Milford Marina is to host a fun-filled day of Easter activities this weekend. On Saturday 7th April, visitors to Milford Marina can enjoy a range of family entertainment taking place amongst the unique shops, cafés, bars and restaurants.
The official engineering designers for the 2012 Olympics have been chosen to design the new £5 million Milford Dock Lock.
