E10 unleaded fuel has been introduced at Milford Marina from today.
We advise boat owners to check that their vessel's engine is compatible before filling up as the prolonged use of E10 petrol in a non-compatible engine may cause harm to the vessel and therefore is not recommended.
Why E10 fuel? The introduction of E10 fuel is part of the UK Government’s plans to meet wider climate change targets and reduce CO2 emissions. This decision came into force on 1st September, and all marinas will be selling / stocking the same petrol moving forward.
E5 will continue to be available at many other petrol stations for owners whose boats are not compatible with E10.
