Congratulations to our October Photo of the Month competition winner, Giles White with his fantastic photo titled “Divine intervention at St Brides”. 

We asked Giles about the inspiration behind his winning photo, and he shared with us that it was inspired by the northern lights he saw while returning from a coastguard call-out in the early hours.  

As he passed St. Brides Church, he saw the perfect opportunity to capture a silhouette of the church and the gravestones against the stunning backdrop. 

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.   

November’s competition is open for entries, and we’d love to see any autumnal photos you’ve taken.
