Congratulations to our August Photo of the Month competition winner, Kate White, with her stunning photo titled “Wish you were here!” 

Kate shared with us that the inspiration for her winning photo struck her during a quiet evening walk along Mackerel Quay. She described how the moon had positioned itself just right, perfectly aligned with the towering structures of the oil refinery in the distance. The scene was so beautiful, it reminded her of a Pink Floyd album cover. 

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.   

September’s competition is open for entries, and if you’ve taken any photos from this summer, we’d love to see them all!
