Congratulations to our June Photo of the Month competition winner, Vicky Blockwell with her photo titled “Cold water swimming under the sunset”.  

Vicky is part of a small group who swim most days from the slip on Milford Beach. As strong advocates for cold water swimming, they’re passionate about its many health and wellbeing benefits, not to mention how much fun it is. Swimming as a group also adds an important element of safety and shared motivation. 

However, the photo Vicky captured was taken during a swim from her husband’s boat at Dale, under what she described as the most perfect sunset.  

Vicky was delighted to win and has chosen to spend her voucher at Freckles Cafe! 

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.    

Our July competition is still open for entries, and we’d love to see any photos you’ve taken this summer!
