Congratulations to our June Photo of the Month winner, Jason Crimmins, with his fantastic image, “Late Evening over the Carew River”.
We asked Jason about the inspiration behind his winning photo, and he explained that the image came about purely by chance.
After dinner one evening, Jason was walking through a friend's field when he noticed the wheat gently swaying in the breeze. As the sun broke through, the scene was transformed, creating a striking moment that immediately caught his eye.
Reaching for his phone, Jason captured the image. He puts it down to being "in the right place at the right time", but the photograph beautifully showcases an appreciation for the natural beauty that surrounds us every day.
The image captures the peacefulness of a summer evening and highlights the stunning landscapes we are fortunate to enjoy. As Jason reflected, we live in a beautiful county, and this photograph is a perfect reminder of just that.
Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.
