Our March Photo of the Month winner is Mel Barney, with her stunning image titled “Haven Sunset.”
Speaking about the inspiration behind her photograph, Mel shared how fortunate she feels to have such a beautiful waterway right on her doorstep. On clear days, she loves nothing more than watching the sun slowly set over the water.
She described sunsets as wonderfully calming, a gentle way to end the day, as warm light fades into shifting colours and the water settles into a peaceful stillness.
Every month we invite all berth holders, visitors, and photographers of all skill levels to participate in our Photo of the Month competition.
Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.
