In these unprecedented times, and following official Government guidance, our priority is to protect the safety of our staff and customers. As a result of this, we have taken the decision to adjust our service during the coronavirus outbreak, as a temporary measure, to mitigate the spread of the virus at Milford Marina. The changes are as follows:

Boatyard closure

Our boatyard is now closed, with the exception of liveaboards who require access to their boats and/or vehicles in the boatyard. If your boat is in the boatyard as part of your 12 month berthing contract and this closure causes you to go over 10 weeks, you will receive your regular invoices but you will not be charged for additional boatyard storage. Our hoist will only be operating for emergency lifts until further notice.

Liveaboard berth holders

Please be assured that liveaboard berth holders will still have access to the toilets, showers and laundry facilities, as well as the fuel berth. If you have any queries, the Marina Team will still be working and contactable using the usual methods.

Visiting boats

We have taken the decision to stop accepting visiting leisure boats into the marina, until the outbreak has subsided.

Self-isolating on your boat?

If you have taken the decision to self-isolate aboard your boat, please let us know by calling us on 01646 696312 or by sending us an email. If there is anything that we can help with or get you, then we will try our best to help.

Contract roll on

If you are coming to the end of your winter berthing contract or are due to renew your 12 month contract in April, we will roll on your existing contract for up to 3 months, based on the monthly fee that you were invoiced in March. We will continue to monitor this situation and we will not be increasing our berthing fees on 1st April 2020. For customers who have already received an invoice for new contracts starting in April, we will arrange for a credit of the difference to be applied to your account.

During the coronavirus outbreak you can rest assured that our facilities will continue to be cleaned regularly, but we would recommend that you use the hand sanitiser provided and observe social distancing when using the facilities at this time. The Marina Team will be working, carrying out regular patrols, and the essential operation of the lock gates. As a marina that welcomes liveaboards, our facilities will continue to remain open and our office will remain manned. We will listen to advice and if the situation worsens, we may need to review again and look at running on a skeleton staffing structure, based at Pier Head.

Our team is working hard to ensure that we continue to deliver for our customers, so your patience and understanding is welcomed at this time.

We appreciate that you may have questions or concerns at this time, so please do not hesitate to get in touch with us if we can help you.

Please stay safe and we look forward to seeing you all very soon.
