It’s been an ‘interesting’ year so far to say the least, and although you may not have had the season you expected, we can’t thank our berth holders enough for being patient and supportive throughout. Over the summer months we have been fortunate with plenty of glorious weather and we hope you’ve managed to spend some quality time on the water.
Whilst we’re still going through these unprecedented times, please rest assured that our team have implemented measures following Government advice, making your visit to Milford Marina as smooth and safe as possible. Prioritising the safety of our customers and staff, we politely ask for you to adhere to the signage in place, use the hand sanitising stations and wear a face covering in communal areas indoors. We also have our own NHS Track and Trace QR code, so we would appreciate it if you would check in on arrival using the NHS COVID-19 app to help stop the spread of the virus
Just like many of our berth holders, the Mackerel Stage will be taking shelter over the winter inside the marina. If you’re in need of a safe sanctuary for your boat, then we can offer this with pontoon berthing and storage ashore in our secure boatyard. Whether you’re wanting to stay long-term or just for a short stop-off, we offer a range of contracts to suit your needs. Although, the Mackerel Stage won’t be in place for the next few months, you shouldn’t let that put you off going out. Our Marina Operative and boater Davey Barrett says “the beauty of being located on the Milford Haven Waterway is that it’s so sheltered along the estuary. Winter sailing gives you a different perspective in comparison to the busy summertime, the waters are less crowded giving you a serene experience. You can’t beat locking out on a lovely crisp morning, heading out on the water to watch the sunrise, whilst enjoying a nice cruise around the haven and the upper reaches.”
