Photo of the Month Winner – December 2021

Congratulations to the winner of our December Photo of the Month competition, Dave Barrett!

Every month we encourage our berth holders, visitors and photographers of any standard to enter their photographs into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.

Davey Barrett (Mr Milford Marina) is a long standing berth holder and also works as a Milford Marina Operative, and is our first ever “double winner”, with both of his entries tied with the most votes. His photograph “Harbour Tribute” was taken to capture the harbour paying tribute to Mr Andrew Kerrison.

His second photo is of the Arctic Voyager, an LNG carrier at South Hook LNG. Davey spotted the tanker amidst the magnificent burnt orange sunset and thought it would be great to showcase the scale of these huge tankers that you often see on the Milford Haven Waterway.

Our first Photo of the Month competition of 2022 is now up and running and we’re excited to see all your entries over the coming year, from reminiscent summer shots to snaps of crisp winter mornings – we’d love to see them all!
