Following the First Minister’s announcement yesterday, from today (Sunday 20th December) Wales is in Alert level 4. This means that restrictions equivalent to a lockdown are now implemented to reflect the seriousness of the situation.

For Milford Marina customers, this will mean that:

  • From midnight on Sunday 20th December, overnight stays from non-liveaboard berth holders will not be permitted. Holiday accommodation in Wales must close from this date, and overnight stays fall into this category
  • Our toilet, shower and laundry facilities will only be open for liveaboard berth holders during this time
  • Liveaboard berth holders must follow the rules on mixing with other households on board. The rules for making a Christmas bubble with family and friends in Wales have changed - this has reduced in Wales to allow a maximum of two households to come together to form a bubble on Christmas Day only (25th December). Throughout the Alert level 4 period, a single person household will be able to join with one other household.
  • Existing social distancing guidelines must be followed

For full details, please visit the Alert level 4: frequently asked questions page on the Welsh Government website.

The Milford Marina Team will continue to work 24 hours a day throughout this period and if you have any queries at all, please call 01646 696312. If you are self-isolating on your boat, please let us know.

We will continue to monitor Welsh Government guidelines and advise as soon as any changes to restrictions are announced.

Thank you for your ongoing cooperation throughout this period.

Wishing you a Merry and safe Christmas.
