Berth holders at Milford Marina have once again got into the Christmas spirit by taking part in the annual Christmas boat dressing competition.
The Milford Marina team manages the competition each year with local personalities on board to judge the winner. The judging for this year’s competition was undertaken by the Port of Milford Haven’s Commercial Director, Steve Edwards. Steve selected “Iris B 2” as this year’s winner, complete with fully lit Christmas tree, inflatable Santa and topped off with a star. The owners were presented with a hamper of luxury Welsh produce from Trwffl, which is one of the selection of independent businesses located at Milford Waterfront, overlooking the marina itself.
We love the Christmas light competition each year. Our berth holders have a strong community, especially our liveaboards, so it is great to be able to facilitate fun things like this throughout the year. After a challenging two years, where the team continued to work 24 hours a day to look after the safety of all customers, everyone has been looking forward to seeing the boats lit up this Christmas. This is the 30th year since Milford Marina opened, and we are so proud of the environment we have created for our number ones – the berth holders!
