Congratulations to the winner of our October Photo of the Month competition, Dan Devine, with his aerial photograph of Milford Marina.
Every month we encourage our berth holders, visitors and photographers of any standard to enter their photographs into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.
Dan, who works as a Milford Marina Chargehand was enjoying his day off at Milford Waterfront with his family, whilst he was in the area Dan thought he would test some new camera settings on his drone.
When Dan's drone was in full swing, he recognised one of the boats approaching the lock gates, an old lifeboat called Pentland. Onboard he could see a few familiar faces including berth holders and although you can’t see him, Marina Operative Davey was operating the vessel!
After capturing the photo, Dan wanted to share his photo with others as he’s proud to work in such a beautiful environment. Dan is an explorer at heart and enjoys photography and documenting his adventures on his YouTube Channel and his Instagram in his free time.
November’s competition has now kicked off with a bang, with the nights now drawing in, we’d love to see your starry photos!
