Meet the team member – Rhiannon Phillips
We’re giving you the chance to find out more about the team at Milford Marina. This month, we talk to Rhiannon Phillips!
What is the best thing about working at Milford Marina?
I think it’s fantastic getting to meet such a diverse range of people, as we welcome more visitors during the boating season its brilliant listening to all their stories!
Is there anything people should know about Milford Marina that they may not know?
Milford Marina is surrounded by the vibrant Milford Waterfront, straight off the pontoon you’ll be met with a variety of shops, eateries, and services. If the sun is shining after I finish on a Friday, I enjoy popping into one of the restaurants for a glass of wine (or two)!
Have you got any special skills/talents or hobbies?
I enjoy being creative in my spare time and have my own Etsy store where I make homeware gifts and seasonal items.
What is your best tip/advice for berth holders?
Make sure you watch out for the boom on your sailing yacht. Keep an eye out for it swinging as it can leave you with a nasty bump!
If you have a boat, where is your favourite spot?
I would definitely recommend a trip to Skomer Island, getting to see the puffins that make the island their home for the season is always worthwhile.
What has been your favourite day in work and why?
I don’t have a particular day which comes to mind, but I would say when the sun shining it’s always a great day at Milford Marina!
