Congratulations to our February Photo of the Month competition winner, Tracy Morris with her fantastic photo titled “Sunrise stroll”. 

When we spoke to Tracy about the inspiration behind her award-winning photo, she explained that it was taken during one of her regular morning walks. These walks, which follow her gym session and come just before her daily swim in the sea, are a part of her routine regardless of the weather. She enjoys being outdoors early, when the world is quiet and there’s hardly anyone around.

With a love for photographing sunrises, sunsets, and the sea, Tracy was particularly struck by the view over Milford Marina that morning. The scene had a special quality, almost as if it was hinting at brighter days ahead.

Each month we encourage berth holders, visitors and photographers of all abilities to enter their pictures into our Photo of the Month competition. Entries should have a focus on capturing the spirit of the Milford Haven Waterway, including the boating community, scenery, wildlife, coastline and sunsets, and Milford Marina itself.   

March’s competition is still open for entries, and we can’t wait to see all your spring photos!
